There is no better way to upgrade your look, or to turn heads than using a metallic finish for spring. Designers including Valentino, D Squared, John Galliano, Matthew Willaimson, Gucci, Giorgio Armani and many more used a metallic makeup finish to enhance their designs.
Adding gold to the eyes adds a rich sophistication, silver creates a calm glow, and any metallic color adds pizazz. Valentino applied a light coat to the eyelid and a generous dab on the inside of the eye to bring you in closer. Versace created a full gold coverage look with a heavy coat on the eyelid and liner around the eye, extending the eyelashes to add presence.
Matthew Willaimson created a sultry smokey eye with an electric buzz with silver highlights on the lid and a heavy silver liner on the bottom. Designers such as John Galliano took it beyond the eye and gently applied gold to the curves of the lip, nose and cheek showing us that there are no limits to looking like a million bucks!
